Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the International Honor Society of the Two-Year College recognized by the American Association of Community Colleges, is represented at Pearl River Community College by the Iota Mu Chapter. The Society's purpose is the recognition of academic excellence and the promotion of scholarship, fellowship, leadership, and service in the two-year college.

The Iota Mu Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa was chartered in 1957.
