WELCOME TO PEARL RIVER COMMUNITY COLLEGE FORREST COUNTY CENTER LIBRARY
The Forrest County Center (FCC) Library was established in August of 1995 with the employment of the first librarian and was located in the Allied Health Building until the summer of 2006 when a new Library and Learning Lab were occupied. The new Library is a state of the art facility. The staff consists of one full-time librarian, one full-time assistant, and one part-time clerical staff member. To meet the needs of this growing branch of Pearl River Community College the library provides an online catalog which includes the Library's collection of books and electronic books (netLibrary) as well as, online databases, such as MAGNOLIA, MELO, Humanities Index, Essay and General Literature Index, ProQuest Nursing & Allied Health Source, CQ Researcher, Issues & Controversies, and Opposing Viewpoints. The FCC Library also provides periodicals, indexes, and audio visual software for the students and staff. Books and other materials are interlibrary loaned from the Poplarville and Hancock Campuses to provide access to additional materials. Internet access, including wireless capability, is also available for students and staff. Individual study carrels and a study room are available for use.
