PRCC competes in statewide Phi Beta Lambda competition
POPLARVILLE- Pearl River Community College business students proved that
they're ready for business during the statewide Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) competition recently held in Fulton, Ms.  PRCC claimed first place in the Word Processing Competition with the Network Design Team, Visual Basics, and C++ placing second, and Computer Concepts placing third.  In addition, PBL recognized the PRCC Beta Tau as being the number one chapter in the state for collecting $1,460 to support the March of Dimes...more

Lady ’Cats finish second in Pensacola Tournament
PRCC makes history with 4-3 victory over host PJC on Saturday
PENSACOLA, Fla. — Pearl River’s Lady Wildcats lost to nationally-ranked 
Parkland (Ill.) here Saturday to finish second in the Pensacola Junior College Tournament, while defeating the touted event hosts for the first time in school history to earn a berth in the championship game. PRCC, 5-6 overall after the tournament, fell 9-2 to Parkland, which finished second in the nation in 2002 and fourth a year ago.
